About this style

A pair of jeans that stands like a pair of brackets. Fourteen degrees of arc on each leg, deep indigo denim and small apricot bar tacks, the one spot of colour we allow ourselves on a dark jean.

The arc is measured on our own gauge: the angle between a straight line from hip to hem and the outseam at its widest point, on size 28 laid flat. At 14°, the knee measures 26 cm across and the hem 18 cm.

Rigid denim has no stretch. It relaxes slightly with wear; if you are between sizes, choose the larger one.

Care

Wash inside out at 30 °C with similar colours. Do not tumble dry; dry flat or hang. Iron on medium heat if needed. Indigo can transfer onto light fabrics and upholstery while new.

Keep away from open flames. Dark denim and dyed leather can transfer colour onto light fabrics, especially when wet. Not a toy; keep small parts away from young children.
